From a Child’s Perspective
Felicity Downes
Felicity gives a very emotional and thought provoking talk about what it was like having depression and anxiety throughout her teenage years and early twenties. Aimed at parents of teenagers (and pre-teens), she explores her upbringing with parents who she felt discouraged her from being open and didn’t know how to deal with her suffering with these black clouds.. She now knows what her parents thought and felt back then, what they were unsure of and scared of and how they wish they could have helped Felicity.

This talk will help parents understand what their children might be going through - bullying, exams, relationship issues, alcohol and drug usage… Felicity aims to give an insight into your child’s mind and help you break down the barriers between you and your child. Talking is the biggest and best thing.
